I absolutely hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I must right now. The sheer number of retailers planning to go into bankruptcy after the holidays is astonishing.  You need to know who they are in case you plan on giving gift cards to friends and family this season.  Why?  Because some of those cards will be worthless next year. I wanted to give everyone a heads up that if you tend to give gift cards around the holidays, you need to be careful that the cards will be  honored after the holidays. The scene was a downer, to say the least. (READ ON)

According to official sources, it seems that Madonna's marriage to director Guy Richie is rounding the bend, closing up shop, pulling the curtains, peetering out, going kaput...  (READ ON)

While I consider myself only a tiny bit of a worrier, I am literally obsessed and wholly stressed with this bailout problem and credit crunch. Just what exactly are we confronting here as a nation?

Are we all going to lose our houses, the precious roofs over our heads? our credit cards? our jobs?  No... can't happen... this is America, right? (READ MORE)
