I absolutely hate to be a
Debbie Downer, but I must right now. The sheer number of retailers
planning to go into bankruptcy after the holidays is astonishing.
You need to know who they are in case you plan on giving gift cards to

ever-so-awkward human eye contact and slumped out of the elevator out
onto the sidewalk into some of the coldest, rainiest, gloomiest, Fall
weather to date. The scene was a downer, to say the least.

that Madonna is getting a divorce... and I don't even like her music.
According to official
sources, it seems that Madonna's marriage to director Guy Richie is
rounding the bend, closing up shop, pulling the curtains, peetering out,
going kaput...

While I consider myself only a tiny bit of a
worrier, I am literally obsessed and wholly stressed with this bailout
problem and credit crunch. Just what exactly are we confronting here as a
nation?
Are we all going to lose our
houses, the precious roofs over our heads? our credit cards? our jobs?
No... can't happen... this is America, right?
