Unless you are of a certain age, it is easy to forget just how ridiculously gorgeous Paul Newman was in his prime.
While he was certainly always at the top of his game, I would say that in his prime, he was one of the best-looking men I have ever seen. Yes? What about you folks? What's your favorite Paul Newman thing-y?
Let's see, there was Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Sting, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Cool Hand Luke, The Color of Money... those eyes, that smile, the salad dressing, the organic pet foods, his long-standing marriage andlove for his wife Joanne (over 50 years), his emotional triumph in losing a child, his public service and philanthropy. The list goes on and on.
So which actor tries to be like Paul these days? Brad Pitt? George Clooney? I can think of a few for whom he is clearly a role model. Such a fantastic man.
Wow, will he ever be missed.
